Mushrooms in a crispy batter with sesame seeds
During the long post, porridge with mushrooms in time a bit and so want to diversify their menu. This time I decided to try to fry the mushrooms in the batter and the result I liked. My husband also appreciated, although he is not fasting and a great lover of meat, mushrooms was fine, and so I think that after a post is also going to prepare. These mushrooms will fit any side dish, especially with vegetables.

Ingredients

  • Water

    250 мл

  • Flour

    170 г

  • Potato starch

    90 г

  • Mushrooms

    7 шт

  • Vegetable oil

    250 мл

  • Sesame

    2 ст. л.

  • Leavening agent

    1 ч. л.

  • Salt

    1 ч. л.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

Mix the sifted flour with the starch, baking powder, and salt.

Stir water and vegetable oil ( 3 tbsp), gradually, mixing with a whisk, add the liquid mixture into the dry.

Knead the dough. Too runny, the batter should not be – the batter should be like the Browns.

Add to the batter with sesame seeds, and stir it for 15 minutes minimum to clean the refrigerator.

Mushrooms wash, peel and cut into crosswise slices at 5 mm thickness. First, I cut more thin slices of about 2-3 mm., but after tasting the finished mushrooms decided that if you cut them thicker they will turn out juicier, and it did!

Pour into the pan vegetable oil, heat it, then turn a few pieces at one go lower into hot oil dipped in the batter with the mushroom pieces and fry until a nice Browning for 3-4 min, once over this time turning.

Lay out fried mushrooms in batter on a paper towel – it will absorb excess fat.

The batter turns out crisp with a pleasant taste of sesame, but the inside remains juicy mushrooms! The side dish can be choose according to your taste. All a pleasant appetite!
