Spaghetti with beet sauce
Tasty pasta with beet sauce on the Lenten table.

Ingredients

  • Spaghetti

    300 г

  • Vegetable oil

    4 ст. л.

  • Beets

    1/2 шт

  • Almonds

    6 шт

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Garlic

    3 зуб.

  • Prunes

    6 шт

The beets clean and laterite on a small grater.

Prunes soak in hot water. clean the garlic and crush with a knife handle.

Prunes cut into small pieces.

Heat the vegetable oil, put the beets, saute on slow fire for 8-10 minutes.

Spaghetti boil in salted water until tender. Drain the water ( 1, 5 cups of broth to save for the beet sauce)

To the beets add the prunes, garlic, salt, pepper, pour the broth from the spaghetti and simmer for another 3-4 minutes. The sauce is ready.

In the sauce lay out pasta, stir quickly. Place on a platter, garnish with a sprig of greenery and sprinkle with chopped almonds.
