Porridge was, the pancakes were the puddings was... What should we do? Dare to offer diversified Breakfast soup. I propose a variation on the theme of gabarap dishes, praised by Gogol "inspector":). This soup in the old days it was considered healthy but not too tasty – still: oatmeal dissolve onion in the water or, at best, in a fish broth. However, in the reprint edition of the book "Model kitchen" in 1892 I found a more acceptable option for themselves, and which, with slight modifications, and brought to life.

Here is the recipe in the original. I decided to replace the water with milk. The bottle is a measure of volume equal to About 600 ml. proportions of the replacement of oats cereal had doubts, but in the end it turned out great tender texture.

Milk put on the fire, added sugar, salt. When milk is boiled, poured, while stirring intensively, oatmeal and some vanilla. When it is boiling – put the prunes. In a minute you can turn off and give a little brew. Soup is just lightning fast. And very tasty – for those who love oatmeal, of course. It can be given even to kids. Finnic and instead of oil put a piece of butter directly into the bowl.
